Hair is prone to being dry, frizzy and full of static in the winter.

This easy tips and tricks for hair care will help you achieve healthy, beautiful, thick hair during the freezing winter months!

So enjoy!

1. Dry hair

Right off the bat let's talk about dry hair because that is usually the number one problem in the winter time, most people get dry brittle hair because there is less  moisture in the air in the winter time so a couple things you can do to kind of compensate for this is one to switch out your pillow case there's way less friction on your hair if you have a silk pillowcase rather than like a regular pillowcase and this will kind of de-accentuate the dry brittle effect on your hair the west's friction the better.

2. Hair mask

Time to break out a hair mask more often so at least once a week in the winter time you can choose whatever hair mask that you will like best for your hair type, I'll put the link of best hair mask so where you can choose whatever hair mask that you like I recommend in the shower after you conditioned squeeze out as much water as you can from your hair and then apply the hair mask leave it on for about 10 minutes and during that time you can shave exfoliate do whatever else you need to do in the shower and then wash it out with colder water. If you continue to do this you will definitely find that your hair is way less brittle and static during the winter time.

3. Less damage

Way less to your hair that means less heat styling in the winter time, less washing, try to go longer between washes the more you wash your hair the more your stripping kind of the natural oils in your hair so your hair is going to be drier, pattern reduce your color damage as well so if you are someone that likes to dye your hair often or change up your an easy switch you can make is just using hair extensions that are multiples or a different shades.

4. Static hair

If you have dry hair in winter then you are probably familiar with a second problem of static so first up if you blow dry your hair regularly then I recommend switching to an ionic hair dryer difference is that ionic hair dryers blow out negativity charged ions and this will work against the positively charged water molecules in your hair and your damp hair and also reduce that static electricity and again reduce the static so your hair will also actually dry faster with an ionic hair dryer and negative ions also don't open up the hair shaft so this makes your hair much smoother and sleeker, a couple things you should keep in your bag at all times in the winter if you on the go and you need a quick fix for that static hair, you should keep a couple dryer sheets and some hair serum in your bag so take a dryer sheet and pat it down and just rub it over the affected area it will instantly smooth down and calm down that static.

5. Stay hydrated

You want to make sure that you are hydrated not just from the outside but also from the inside too during the winter time so you want to make sure that you are drinking enough water.
